Background

The Ninth International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo was held in Beijing during April 1-3, and UTC participated as the top sponsor for the ninth consecutive year.

Solution

S.C. Xiao, president of UTIO China, represented UTC to receive the Green Building Award and delivered a keynote speech at the opening session. Mr. Qiu Baoxing, Vice Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MoHURD), and other MoHURD leaders visited the UTC Booth. During the discussion with UTC leadership, Mr. Qiu recognized UTC’s contribution to environmental conservation & energy efficiency improvement, and technology innovation.

CCS and Otis showcased their products/technologies along with UTC’s leadership in the commercial segment during the conference. Two separate media interviews were arranged for CCS and Otis to demonstrate and reinforce UTC and its BUs’ technology leadership and strong commitment to support the green building development in China.
