Shanghai, June 14, 2016 – MSLGROUP has announced the acquisition of the China-based cause marketing consultancy, Have Faith in Your Brand, and has appointed its founder and president, Faith Brewitt, as its CEO, Greater China. Brewitt will also serve as Asia Practice Leader for MSLGROUP’s Corporate and Brand Citizenship Practice.
Brewitt has more than 20 years’ experience in Asia working for Dell and for PR agencies Fleishman-Hillard, H+K Strategies and Edelman in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and also in the U.S. For the last several years, she has run her own consultancy out of Beijing. For her new role, Brewitt will relocate to Shanghai.
In Greater China, MSLGROUP has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hong Kong and Taipei.
According to Guillaume Herbette, MSLGROUP Global CEO, Brewitt’s appointment comes at a time of high growth in the region, much of it coming from MSLGROUP’s integration into Publicis Communications.
“We saw the opportunity to create a new position for Faith that would turbo-charge and maximize this growth in China,” Herbette said. “With her deep and varied background in public affairs, corporate reputation, sustainability/citizenship, NGOs and government, Faith is the ideal partner to drive the collaboration with Publicis Communications and build end-to-end solutions for our clients’ business challenges.”
Since the integration was put in place late last year, more than 25 new client assignments have migrated to MSLGROUP in Asia from Publicis Worldwide, Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi. Last year, the agency saw record growth, profitability and new business wins in Asia. In 2016 Greater China has led the way as every market in Asia has outperformed its 2015 successes.
