AC Sunshine School Visit

 

Challenge

Magnus Gyllo, VP of Atlas Copco China, together with 6 representatives of employees from Atlas Copco, accompanied by Josephine Charles, the founder of the Josephine Charles Foundation, visited AC Sunshine School on May 6-8, 2011.

 

Solution

Two top-tier mass media, China Daily and Xinmin Weekly, were invited to this tour in order to interview Magnus, Josephine Charles and the headmaster of the school during the visit.

MSLGroup China organized the whole event in cooperation with the Josephine Charles Foundation providing on-site support. Moreover, a post-press release was drafted and distributed to media. In addition, an edited video clip and on-site photos were submitted to Magnus.

 

 

 

Longde “Water for All” Project.

 

Challenge

Since 2008 in China, Atlas Copco has chosen Plan international, a British-based charity, as a partner to launch the project at 10 villages (involving 15,000 villagers) of Longde, a Hui community in Ningxia.

As the two-year project came to an end, Magnus Gyllo, VP of Atlas Copco China and a selection of volunteering employees, paid a visit to the local communities on September 15-18, 2011.
